Hosted by Big Time Hoops, the annual tournament brings together boys and girls programs from across the country for two days of competition, with teams battling for a spot in the Big Time Hoops National Championships later this month.

Rod Wave Elite was led by four-star prospect Jaques Mitchell, who produced several highlight-reel plays throughout the contest. Mitchell had multiple scores and steals throughout the game that helped Rod Wave Elite maintain control as Baller Academy attempted to keep the game within reach.

While the final score finished at 55-44, Baller Academy continued to compete throughout the afternoon, despite having a slight height disadvantage, forcing Rod Wave Elite to earn every possession before pulling away in the closing minutes.

This year’s Circuit of Champions also introduced the Content Creator Division, featuring Rod Wave Elite and other nationally recognized programs. The division aims to combine elite AAU basketball with expanded digital media coverage, giving athletes additional exposure through photographers, videographers, and social media outlets covering the event.

The tournament continues through Sunday with bracket play following Saturday’s pool games as teams compete for championships and a berth in the Big Time Hoops National Championships in Virginia Beach later this month.
